About Martin Priestley

Martin Priestley was born in Otley, West Yorkshire in 1977. He became interested in Photography in 2001, using his fathers old Praktica SLR camera. A keen hiker and cyclist he was drawn towards landscape photography. As his interest in photography continued to grow, Martin enrolled on a photographic degree course at Leeds Metropolitan University. He graduated in 2007. Martins work has appeared in a number of publications including Amateur Photographer and Digital Photo magazines. Martin uses a variety of equipment, both digital and film based. His main cameras are a Mamiya 645 and a Canon 400D digital SLR. More recently he began experimenting with a Lomo Fisheye camera. |
